A Clean Home

Hello friends! Did you have a lovely Easter? Our was filled with family, worship, golf and lots of food : ) One extra bonus of the Easter season (besides of course, our risen Savior!) is that I get both Good Friday and the Monday following Easter off from work. I took full advantage of this time, filling it with many things....picking for an upcoming antiques market, doing our taxes {blaaahhh} spending time with my husband, and cleaning our home.

Given the craziness that is my life right now, I haven't had much time to really clean our house the last few weeks. Matt is a total saint and has been helping out a lot, but I needed a day to just deep clean the place, re-organize and refocus.

I always find that once my house is clean, I notice the little details more. Even things I pass every day take on a special new luster.

Like fresh bed linens

A sparkling clean sink

My favorite little home accessories

Pretty reading materials in a vintage market basket

And of course, a few vintage finds priced and tagged and ready to go to market. These particular finds will be part of my offerings at the Red Barn Outdoor Market on April 28. If you're local, join me : )

What are your cleaning rituals? Do you see your belongings in a new light after a good clean?

  1. Hey Miss Courtney!
    Loving these pics!!
I would LOVE for you to come link this up at my linky party "Cowgirl Up!", going on right now. Link up once, appear on 4 blogs.

  2. Love your blog. I have it on my list of favorites.. Pretty things! I love to clean to a fresh brick of scentsy in my scentsy pots. Gets me going everytime..

  3. Can I admit that I truly love "cleaning day" here at Heaven's Walk, Courtney? lol! Sometimes while I'm dusting and moving things around, new vignettes are created by happenstance and I surprise myself! :) There's nothing better than walking in the door and seeing that everything is sparkling clean and fresh....and knowing that I'm actually caught up for a change! lol!

    xoxo laurie

  4. I look forward to reading every blog update. Keep 'em coming!

  5. Such lovely details, Courtney! I love your shop and now have stumbled onto your blog! Just delightful!! I spent today going through leftover boxes of items brought back from our daughter's wedding on Saturday, and cleaning! Wow...I sooo agree. Every little home accent takes on importance in the order of a clean home!! Can't wait to finish up in the living and dining room tomorrow!!

    Have a lovely Thursday!

  6. You can hire transfer helpers to clean up the room. It might be too hard for one person. You can hire experienced and professional workers. They will give you the desire look of you room. You can also have them for other household chores.

Well hello there! You just made my day!
