You guys, having a little girl is just the most fun! Besides Lexie just being the sweetest babe ever, it’s also so much fun to get to do girly things with her.
In her new playroom (full reveal coming soon!) I set up a little mini-celebration for Valentine’s Day. Nothing too fancy, but cupcakes, flowers and a tutu go a long way with a one year old. She loves sitting at her new play table we got her for Christmas.
This picture just kills me – helping herself, finger up! She’s definitely all girl!
These little stuffed animals were a HomeGoods find and they are just so cute! Perfect for Valentine’s Day and beyond. I’m sure they will see many tea parties in the coming years : ) (I searched high and low but couldn’t find these exact ones online, but check your HomeGoods in case they have them too! I found a few similar ones here, here and here)
We don’t give her much sugar, so she was pretty thrilled with these tiny little cupcakes!
I love doing special things like this with her at holidays. She loves trying and experiencing new things, and watching her take it all in is just as much fun for me. (PS – she’s totally her mama’s daughter and doesn’t want to get her hands dirty…which made attempting to eat her cupcake a bit difficult : )

But have you ever priced…
I have to admit, I think the options for little boy clothes and toys have come a long way just in the last couple of years. It was difficult to find classic boy toys and items in light blue when I was expecting Evan, but I’m happy to see the options are growing. I’ve curated…
One thing I’ve been surprised by since becoming a mama is how much joy it brings me to create magic around holidays for little ones. There is just nothing like watching a child (your child!) experience a holiday, and Easter happens to be one of my very favorites. I will never forget hunting for the…
Now trending: decor with sweet scallops and ruffled edges One of my absolute favorite trends right now in home decor is the addition of scalloped designs! From light fixtures to garden pots to rugs and accessories, scallops are definitely in right now, but the great thing is they really are timeless. These sweet details add…
Hey friends! It’s been a while since I posted an actual blog post. Does anyone still read these things? It’s safe to say the world seems to have migrated over to Instagram, and I’m no exception. If you’re not following along over there, please do! So what could be worth a blog post? Well, I…
I’ve confessed my love for celebrating holidays with little ones before, and Easter is no exception. You can see how I decked out Lexie’s first Easter basket last year here. She was tiny then, and is definitely more of a toddler now, so I know she’ll really enjoy the little gifts we’ve picked up for…
