A Peaceful, Pretty Lamb-Themed Nursery

Leah’s mother-in-law sewed the quilt and bedding. I love the sweet and classic peach and cream florals she used.

They removed the closet doors to create a little dressing area. Such a fun little nook!

The gorgeous arched window in her room lets in the best light!

 Her little toy corner is just the sweetest, with a vintage laundry cart for her stuffed animals.

Our taste tends to be pretty similar and we often pick out the same types of things, so of course I love the peach and gray combo (she did it before me, for the record!)

The crib and changing table are both the Jenny Lind by Davinci (the same crib I have – told you we pick out the same things ; ). The glider is from Target and is so plush and comfy. We joke that we both have champagne taste and are never terribly practical with our choices. She wanted a pricey custom rocker (that was gorgeous), but knew it was probably a bit impractical. We had many discussions on what she should do (I am no help because I’m totally Team Expensive Pretty Things!). She finally decided to go with the affordable micro-fiber glider and the very first morning she had it, before the baby was even born, she spilled her coffee on it! Lesson learned, I guess!

Leah’s husband is very handy and they have spent the last several years making their house into a home by adding these gorgeous hardwoods throughout the main floor, changing out baseboards and crown molding and remodeling the bathrooms. We joke that when they’re finished and ready to move we’ll just buy it from them and move right in! ; ) But seriously, they have done such an incredible job, and I’d love to show you more of their beautiful home soon.

I just love all the details in the nursery – from the vintage lamb pull toy to her pretty dresses, it was all so thoughtful and intentional.
