You guys, having a little girl is just the most fun! Besides Lexie just being the sweetest babe ever, it’s also so much fun to get to do girly things with her.
In her new playroom (full reveal coming soon!) I set up a little mini-celebration for Valentine’s Day. Nothing too fancy, but cupcakes, flowers and a tutu go a long way with a one year old. She loves sitting at her new play table we got her for Christmas.
This picture just kills me – helping herself, finger up! She’s definitely all girl!
These little stuffed animals were a HomeGoods find and they are just so cute! Perfect for Valentine’s Day and beyond. I’m sure they will see many tea parties in the coming years : ) (I searched high and low but couldn’t find these exact ones online, but check your HomeGoods in case they have them too! I found a few similar ones here, here and here)
We don’t give her much sugar, so she was pretty thrilled with these tiny little cupcakes!
I love doing special things like this with her at holidays. She loves trying and experiencing new things, and watching her take it all in is just as much fun for me. (PS – she’s totally her mama’s daughter and doesn’t want to get her hands dirty…which made attempting to eat her cupcake a bit difficult : )

Well…I am probably not the world’s greatest One Room Challenge participant haha. I haven’t really made any progress to show you in the actual room BUT I did make some purchases and my mom is coming over this weekend to help me wallpaper, so there should be some action by next week! WEEK 1 | …
You guys have been loving the sneak peeks of this room I’ve shared on Instagram, and I’m so happy to finally share the full reveal! This might just be prettiest space in our house! We transitioned L from a crib to a “big girl bed” a few months ago in preparation for the new…
One thing I’ve learned is that I adore throwing our daughter birthday parties. There is just nothing quite like the magic and sweetness of a little girl party. You can see her first birthday here and her second birthday here. This is the first year she’s had an opinion on the theme and since she’s…
We have five different gray colors in our home… Silver Fox Coventry Gray Boothbay Gray Stonington Gray Duxbury Gray Needless to say…I love gray walls! I pretty much always gravitate toward interiors with gray walls, white trim and light furnishings. But with about a million different shades of gray out there, how do you decide…
